Trip to Suchý vrch

Suchý vrch is a two-hectare elongated massif, the highest point of Bukovohorská highlands. The altitude of the peak is 995 m above sea level. The second, lower peak (983 m above sea level) is called Bradlo. Both peaks are connected by a shallow saddleback. The land border between Bohemia and Moravia was on Suchý vrch in the past. This border was the same as that of the watercourse parting of the Elbe and the Danube. The observation tower next to the cottage, from which is the view of the Orlické and Bystřice Mountains, Kralický Sněžník, the basin at Králík, Hrubý Jeseník or Žamberk region, was built as a water tower from 1931 to 1932.
